How should Lucio be introduced?
You can make your event classier by having the following introduction read as the food service begins, perhaps by your DJ or MC:

"... Ladies and Gentlemen, We have with us a musically talented special guest. Lucio is an Accordion player who has captured the hearts of many and has been featured on Breakfast Television, Omni TV and Tele-Latino. In addition to playing the Accordion, later on, Lucio will also perform a few songs with the Organetto. At this time, he is ready to serenade you with a selection of romantic Accordion music. Ladies and Gentlemen, Presenting: Lucio Ra-June-Teee..."
Does Lucio have a Wireless Microphone?
Yes. Lucio will provide the DJ with a single microphone cable (XLR, Stereo RCA, or ¼ inch). His wireless microphone receiver needs power, so please ensure there is an available 120V wall outlet. Send this info to your DJ or Banquet Coordinator in advance.
Is playing a real Accordion a lot of work?
Lucio uses real acoustic accordions only — made with genuine metal reeds and beeswax, no electronics. Like a Scottish Bagpipe, producing a beautiful sound requires the muscles of the entire body. Lucio can sustain 1.5 hours of continuous playing, which typically matches the length of the dinner service.
Can I say speeches during Lucio's performance?
Absolutely. Simply inform your DJ to approach Lucio to pause his performance. If possible, speeches longer than 10 minutes should be presented after Lucio has completed his musical set. Longer speeches may incur added service fees.
When should Accordion serenades occur?
Lucio provides any combination of three serenading services: (1) Reception Organetto — 1 hour, (2) Dinner Accordion — 1 hour, (3) Dinner Organetto — 30 minutes. It's worth noting that rarely can you find a musician who plays both the Accordion and Organetto.
What instruments does Lucio play?
Lucio plays the Accordion and Organetto. The Accordion has a white piano keyboard on the right and 120 small round bass buttons on the left — perfect for romantic dinner ambiance. The Organetto has 12 round buttons on the right and two bass buttons on the left — ideal for lively Polkas and Tarantellas during the reception.
How can I save money?
Lucio arrives ready to perform for your guests during dinner — do not reserve food for him. Depending on the venue, this may save your budget between $100–$150.
When is the best time to photograph Lucio?
As soon as the DJ or MC reads the Lucio Introduction, Lucio will walk up to the VIPs and stand behind them facing the guests while performing his very first Accordion song. This is the perfect moment for photos. Be sure to inform your photographers and videographers in advance.
How do Salad Bars affect Lucio's services?
Salad bars are usually open during guest arrival, which can last up to 1.5 hours at a wedding — the same duration as the dinner service. Since Lucio can sustain 1.5 hours of continuous playing, it's essential to call Lucio to discuss how to best schedule his live serenades around your event's itinerary.
